Nah. However, it is part of why the US got to the point where the socialists could sway the masses to the point where they could take over the reigns.
Just so we are clear.
Oligarch - a very rich businessman with a great deal of political influence
Oligarchs started the Democratic Republic of the United States of America and they lost their control over a century ago. They created the rule book and lost the game
I like fruit loops!

Good for you, but you still avoid the point, as usual.
Your said that someone would come along and say it is capitalism's fault and that we should put more power into the hands of the oligarchs. I implied that the Capitalist Oligarchs already had the power and they lost it to the socialist oligarchs.

By your own definition, you speak non-sense.
You do realize that people with money and political influence can be socialists right?

This is the basic problem with the current system. Where I work there are soooo many tools who just vote however the union tells them to, makes me sad.
Sometimes I think one should have to pass a basic civics test in order to vote. But then, it would just get dumbed down to a level that anyone could pass it. I don't know what the answer is, but I really do wish the clueless would stay home on voting day. Or at least be required to show proper id.....
Where I come from the tools mostly vote the way their Church tell them.
Also, where I come from, we have to show a proper identification to vote. Sounds like your local voting process needs some revamping. |

I agree with much of what you say Mutant, but I am muting myself as I do not want to make this a class debate...
All I will say is that I no longer blame the President. Whatever power the elected position of The President entailed, in the past, has been usurped and curtailed into oblivion....even though the position was created to have minimal power to begin with.
For example, I do not agree with most of what the 'Bush's' agenda stands for but I would love to have many beers with G.W. Bush JR. |
